Hello Again

With the new year fast approaching I am trying to get things in order.  I have moved into a condo in Henderson, finished furnishing it, and am finally ready to put all my concentration back into poker.  With my bankroll now at an all-time low I have no choice but to get after it with much fervor.

I'm not one to make New Year's Resolutions but in 2013 I will make my best effort to study more, play more, and tilt less.  And most of all, avoid working for the man.

Many thanks to Mr. Sub(optimal)liminal for prodding me back to the computer.  I plan on making more posts, even if they are shorter in length.

  4. I'd love for you to reflect over the past couple of months and give the pros and cons for whatever has actually happened and what has led you back to a renewed passion for wanting to win and play and what you were doing that got you away from the game.
Also, since I haven't been playing much and haven't caught up to you much lately - Welcome back to the fray (of blogging)

  5. I really like the name Mr Suboptimal and would seriously consider changing my blog name to that, were it not for the minor detail that I have already achieved worldwide fame and recognition under the old moniker. Pity.

  9. congrats on the new place. if i can offer any advice: be more specific when setting your goals. setting well-intentioned but vague ones can be really disappointing, since they are easy to miss but hard to fulfill.

  10. Hey, it's been a couple of weeks. What happened to your NY's resolution to blog more? Did it go the way of resolutions like 1) start a work-out program, 2) put 10% of your income in a savings account, 3) stick to that new diet, 4)never risk a big stack with just top pair, top kicker and 5)bang a Sports Illustrated super-model?
